No Day 17 and Fun in Utah for Day 18

Okay Okay Okay.

So we were traveling and I didn't fulfill my Day 17, which was suppose to be clouds. On some social media I lied and said it was suppose to be Moon.

Oh well.

Today, Day 18, was beach......which is kinda hard in Utah. There are two beaches, one of which was an hour away (and we weren't going to drive that far after traveling all day yesterday) at the Great Salt Lake.

Then there are little man made beaches up at Daybreak.
Sounded like a better option.

Had so much fun with family and got so many fun shots.

Day 15 and 16

I think I have a new addiction......

 

Night photography.

 

I am not sure why the pics turned out grainy on upload...?

Anyhow, there is SOOO much possibility with night photography. I had so much fun and hope to continue to get better.

Day 16: Low Angle

Day 14: Red.

This turned out to be a day with friends!

 

I went visiting teaching this morning, which was wonderful. Was uplifted and felt the spirit!

Then I headed on over to one of my new friend's house because she so wonderfully agreed to help me with a photo shoot.

When I saw the subject "red" I honestly, immediately thought of her.

She is so beautiful and when she wear red lips, SHE OWNS THEM. She looks stellar. I mean, they go with her skin tone and her eye color. I mean,

WHAM, BHAM, THANK YOU MA'AM.

She heartily agreed to help me out.....(okay I put that in there to make myself feel better. I think she was a bit embarrassed that I asked her)

I turned out wonderful. I got some absolutely GORGEOUS shots of her while our little men played together. Then the boys wanted to join the fun.

Jonah has the MOST gorgeous eyes! (second only to my sister, my two brothers and his mother......but you get the point)

She just kept kissing and laughing and Jonah just kept....keeping on. No smile the entire time!

 

Bron and I then headed over to St. Phillips plaza just to get some other shots.

It was hot enough today that I ended up sweating up a storm while I was shooting! It was a mistake to wear my hair down, but a girl's got to like nice sometimes!

 

 Believe it or not, I didn't even dress him this morning!!! He just happened to fit right in!

 

I am super excited about tomorrow's subject. I have a FANTASTIC idea and I hope it works out. We will see.

Days 12 and 13

Sunset and Flowers

 

We were invited to dinner out at our wonderful friends house, Jo and Tracy, who live way out west from us. I had such a busy Sunday with church, reading and baking a chocolate raspberry cheese cake (which was ABSOLUTELY delicious) that I didn't get a chance to take any photos before we headed out to dinner. I didn't not want to get my shot, but I wasn't sure it was going to turn out.

I happened to look in the rearview mirror and noticed how beautiful the east side of town looked.

Today's subject was flowers. I was skeptical about this subject because it is SOOO cliché. But I ended up finding some beautiful flowers around town. Although, they are all the same flowers. chuckle chuckle. Seems to be the only flower in bloom in Tucson right now.

 

 There is a historical district near campus that has the most beautiful old homes. Most of them have absolutely beautiful landscaping and gardens. After Bron and I dropped dad off at school, we cruised around campus and these gorgeous neighborhoods.

 

I am particularly proud of this shot. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but it turned out beautifully (if I can say so myself).

 

Still loving this project. I think Mike sometimes gets annoyed with me constantly snapping photos, but it's been lots of fun.

Day 11 - Blue

Day 11 today. Not really happy with any shots that I got in regards to blue.

 

 This is about the only shot I got that I sort of liked. Bron playing at the park with the gold clubs and his big blue ball. Felt like my creative juices just weren't flowing today. I feel like "Blue" for a subject was a bit redundant after "sky" but oh well.

First full apple from the Farmer's Market. It was the perfect size for him!
